All over Southern California the golden poppies are in bloom. In the Antelope Valley, in Pasadena, and even a few in my yard.

My parents’ best friends lived on Poppyfields in Altadena. They didn’t have any poppies in their yard, but lots of camellias. Happy painting.
I love the texture of the clouds in this! Lupins are just starting up here, becasue it is cooler the Poppies are later.
