I will learn something in one medium that I will then apply in another (even though the manipulation of the paint is different.) It is all additive. Thanks for your support of the "hard work" ethic. I know that you believe in it too - it shows in your work. There is no substitute for study and practice. Whenever I paint in public I hear people saying that they wish they had 'talent.' I tell them that I think talent plays a very small role in things. Mostly it's about learning the fundamentals and then diligently practicing them. And not giving up or getting discouraged. I think you get a bit more adventuresome with watercolor, K, and that doing watercolors will aid you in adding color versatility and vivacious variety (alliteration not intended but enjoyed!) to your oils and acrylics.
