Thank you Teri, Ann, Jackie and Bill

Bill, yes I think there is quite a synergy between all the media. I will learn something in one medium that I will then apply in another (even though the manipulation of the paint is different.) It is all additive. Thanks for your support of the "hard work" ethic. I know that you believe in it too - it shows in your work. There is no substitute for study and practice. Whenever I paint in public I hear people saying that they wish they had 'talent.' I tell them that I think talent plays a very small role in things. Mostly it's about learning the fundamentals and then diligently practicing them. And not giving up or getting discouraged. That's important, too.

Beautiful, evocative painting that tells a story.
Rich, vibrant color.
I think you get a bit more adventuresome with watercolor, K, and that doing watercolors will aid you in adding color versatility and vivacious variety (alliteration not intended but enjoyed!) to your oils and acrylics.
Nice newspaper coverage for you too!
Seeing you moving ahead with your art career always encourages me, including when I get the chance to preach "work daily" to others on the same art pathway.
