 - tagged meme

May 14th, 2007

Dear Friends,
I’m sorry that I don’t have time right now to do a new tagging, so I am using the one that I did before. I got to 8 and then got too busy to do the rest. I appreciate being included, however.

I was tagged by Evy in the 20 things meme. Like Evy, I wanted to illustrate it so it wasn’t just a list. So, I’m breaking it up into a couple of posts. I am going to tag Fran next, along with Labelle Kel and Mike.
If you suffer from sleep disorders, you should know that the following list has been certified by the American Insomnia Society to help you nod off quickly.

  1. Thanks for your visit to my blog. I draw and paint just for a hobby; we have something in common,
I also have learned shorthand and still practise it in my normal life. I love your blog and am
learning a lot with drawing blogs since here, at Portugal, there are only a very few of them. I will return.

  7. I see that you are obsess with books too, lol. Illustrating your 20 things entry is definitely more fun, isn’t it? Looking forward to the rest!

  8. wow! you got tagged! I got tagged once and that was kind of long ago, i suppose…

Can’t wait the rest of the tag :) [ grinning ]

Been to Evy’s blog and I must say that her works are impressive. It got me wondering how she had her illustrations been coloured. Well, I will certainly drop
her a message in her comment box :)

I just had mine posted in my blog. Sketched. Digitally coloured using Photoshop. Might be coming up with one using Painter instead to see if there’s any
    difference :)

  9. No. 3: ” Can you read this?”
    I miss shorthand. ;)

  10. Hi Karen…Yes, I can read this! I took shorthand in high school many moons ago. I still use it to write out my Christmas list. I love having a language the family can’t read.

I’ve been stopping by your journal to gather inspiration to start daily paintings and journaling again. I started with Danny’s Yahoo group several years ago but got busy with life. I have enjoyed seeing your progress with watercolor. Wonderful work! Very encouraging to me.

  12. What a lovely posting. It seems that whatever we do/see/feel can be expressed in both words and lines and colour. Keep up the good work Karen. Your blog is an inspiration for those with a love of creating pictures.
