Illo Friday - Cat - and Blogstory illo

January 26th, 2006

Scroll down for more cats

If you have been following Blogstory, a collaborative novel project of writers and illustrators organized by Madge of Webb’s Ite fame … then you know that things are really heating up. Will Boris and Mr. Pyre find what they’re seeking? Will Alma achieve her heart’s desire? And why is her abandoned son suddenly so obsessed with Caligula? To find out, you’ll have to read the whole serialized novel as it unfolds at Blogstory, where this is the illustration for Chapter 10. I’m looking forward to doing another illustration for a later chapter. And by then, who KNOWS what will have happened?

For those of you visiting here from Illustration Friday, where the theme is “Cats” … you’ll see there is a cat in this picture, cleverly inserted as an “extra” so that I could meet the deadline. I confess, there isn’t a cat in the novel. On the other hand, no writer has said there’s NOT a cat, so….

And, just so it doesn’t seem like TOO much of a cheat and that I’ve short-changed you, here are some old cats for you. Dig ‘em.

  7. The Great Blog Story

To promote the spirit of Coopertainment - I have now added my submission (Chapter Ten) to The Great Blog Story. It is much sillier than my posts here and my Bullwinkle reference likely dates me. Each chapter has an author

  9. Hi! I was off line for a while. I’m a regular visitor to Madge’s but didn’t dare to follow the story as Madge’s previous one was hard for me to read.
Nice illo of yours. I’ll try from the start.
