Clear Choice

November 23rd, 2005

Ths collage began as a drawing of a dove in the middle of the Moleskine page. It looked sort of forlorn and alone sitting there, so I started to tear paper and collage around it. It just evolved from there with other imagery suggesting war and peace.
Text was from a magazine headline.

1968 redux. Here we are again, waist deep in the Big Muddy, and the big fool says to push on.

  1. I really love this collage, Karen. Simple and to the point. I was in Barnes & Noble last night browsing the protest collages of Rauschenberg. This very much reminds me of his work.
